Personally, painting the finished pieces is my least favorite part in sculpture making.. Every time I begin painting the base colors I’m immediately dissatisfied with how the sculpture looks, all those nice little details get lost in the heavy shade of black or white. But after I keep going at it for a while I finally find that perfect shade, all the little details start popping up again and I just continue painting over and over the thing until I’m satisfied with it.
It might take a few extra days but its worth it I think! And with that the sculpture is finished, it has already been given to the buyer and they seem satisfied.
