Dog sculpture (commission / pt.1)



 Another finished commission, this time its a dog breed called West Highland Terrier.
This brought me back to the first Kiwi sculpture I did, and by that I mean...
All the hair.
Every single string of it.
Rolled up one by one and attached to the body- these ones take the longest to make.

Sometimes you fail to notice mistakes until the piece is finished which is unfortunate..
for example with this one, the neck and the legs are too long for this specific breed of dog-
it turned out not looking like the reference image I got from the commissioner but what's done is done.

It's amazing how you learn something new every time you finish a piece, there'll always be something you can improve on.
